Our long awaited night had come yesterday. The feeling was brilliant. The year is finally over.

At the beginning of my schooling time at St Caths, this year, I was so very bummed out because I was homesick, unhappy and unable to fit in. Now, it is the day after our final day at school - and I feel just great. I actually don't want to leave.

When people ask me, 'are you looking forward to going home?', I say, 'Kind of.' It's true. I kind of am looking forward to going home. However, I am going to miss some parts of this school/boarding life at Sydney. I'm going to miss my friends (Nom, Kwan, Jude, Mint, Kathy etc.); some teachers (Mr Poole [who is leaving :( ], Mr Parkin); my room; the boarding atmosphere. Eventhough I've had my bad times at school and in the boarding house, I'm going to miss it. Very much, actually.

Last night was speech night. It was a long. Really long. Nom and I were playing in the combined Senior Orchestra and Concert Band. We were in the percussion section, of course. We messed up big time, and so did the rest of the band. But you know, it was fun and the thrill of playing at such a great event was awesome.

My flight is at 3.45pm.

I'll post some pictures of Speech Night and the rest of yesterday later when I arrive home. I'll be home by night, and tomorrow morning, I'm off to my old school for their speech day. Should be fun :)

Aurevoir!
Cheers.
